Vativ Technologies offers a single chip transceiver for 10GbE UTP over Cat5e cable with RJ45 connectors.
The VTV1110 (pdf) out of the V10LAN transceiver product line provides a full-duplex 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) interconnect solution over standard Category 5e cable with RJ45 connectors. This technology enables robust, error-free communications at 10Gb/s for short-reach, rack-to-rack stacking and up-linking connections.

- IEEE802.3ae XAUI XGXS host-side interface
- Enables use of standard RJ45 connector
- MDIO interface for control and status monitoring,

- DSP based adaptive equalization, Echo, NEXT and FEXT cancellation
- host side of the V10-LAN is supports IEEE-802.3ae "10 Gigabit Attachment Unit Interface" (XAUI) requirements + can be connected to a XENPAK MSA transceiver electrical connector.
