explainations, comments and experiences with prioritized packets over ethernet using the IEEE standards 802.1p (now incorporated into 802.1D) and 802.1Q.

You are running an QoS enabled network (LAN oder MAN) and use a certain QoS encoding mapping between the Layer three IP encoding (DSCP) and the VLAN tag 802.1p encoding?

Please post your configured mapping table and how you have decided to use those classes and codepoints.
