Cable Vision is having its latest innovative Ethernet switch for outdoor “Ethernet over Coax” solution. By using the unique “Ethernet over Coax” (EOC) technique, this switch can provide transmission distance much longer than original Ethernet limitation. With transmission distance of 300m and throughput of 100Mbps/Full Duplex, it provides users a more flexible solution when installing their device which requires outdoor Ethernet. Through coax cable, AC or DC power can also accompany with Ethernet signal. To apply in the outdoor environment, the enclosure has a compact, water-proof, dust-tight and surge protection designs. Also besides VLAN, QOS, SNMP and web management, we have designed it to be Aerial, pedestal or wall mounting available. This outdoor Ethernet switch with advanced feature is very suitable to outdoor Ethernet networks.

Using coaxial cable as the media of powering and Ethernet signal. This technique has been existed in CATV networks for 50 years. With our Power Over Cable (POC) technique on Ethernet transmission replacing expensive Power Over Ethernet (POE), Outdoor Ethernet demands such as IP camera install and home networking would be a lot easier and inexpensive from now on.
