What is real 100 gigabit Ethernet transmission ?

As far as I can see, 100 gigabit per second Ethernet transmission can be achieved by bundled Ethernet channels, or "bit pipe" bundled transmission or "pure" 100 gbps signal transmissions.
Which of the following solutions would you consider a "real 100 gigabit Ethernet transmission"?
  • 10 x 10G Ethernet channel bundle with some sort of frame ordering defintion OR
  • 2x 50 gigabit per second "raw" bit pipes combined into a pseudo 100 gigabit bit transmission pipe OR
  • less than 50 gigabit per second light symbol rate with multi-level light impulse forming
